This year, the Wardlaw + Hartridge cheerleading team is back and better than ever!

Over the summer, the W+H cheerleaders attended UCA’s Pine Forest Cheerleading Camp where the girls spent four days learning new skills, new routines, and practicing for the season. At the end of the four days the Rams competed in the camp-wide competition, earning W+H two first place trophies and one third place trophy! Their time at this camp gave the girls a newfound confidence in their abilities and experience. This camp was also a huge opportunity for team bonding, creating a powerful and united cheer family.

The girls are now gearing up for the basketball season and preparing for competitions starting in late January. Make sure to come out and support the Rams at their first game!

With excitement, energy and confidence flowing through the air, the girls are ready to start cheering.

“I really love cheerleading because you form a special bond with each one of your teammates that is like no other. You truly become a family,” Sydney Geissler ‘24 said.

Another cheerleader, Avarae Calloway ’24 said, “I’m excited to get to know everyone who is new to our cheer team! I see a lot of new faces and can’t wait to get to know them all.”
