With the season half over, the Rams’ varsity baseball team has demonstrated incredible talent, dedication, and a strong sense of camaraderie. With each game, the team’s chemistry and determination become more evident, and their drive to secure victory is inspiring. Under the guidance of Coach Chris Parisi, the team has made tremendous progress in their ability, sportsmanship, and teamwork. The rigorous training sessions and practice drills are clearly paying off, as the team is improving by each day.
“Since joining the team as a freshman, I definitely have grown both mentally and physically. As captain now, I have grown into a leadership position that involves ensuring the unity of the team while simultaneously focusing on my own skill,” second baseman and pitcher Luke Tan ‘24 said.
Despite the small number of seasoned veterans on the team, there are many promising newcomers
Win or lose, the W+H baseball team maintains an unwavering sense of unity and support for one another. This bond extends beyond the diamond, as the players are often seen hanging out together, organizing team-building activities, and participating in school events. Their positive energy has fostered a sense of pride among the W+H community, making the baseball games a must-attend event.
The captains also have prosperous goals for the Rams baseball team. First baseman Cian Nicholls ‘25 said, “By next year I’m very positive that we are going to be contending for the division with the other schools. This is a team that can really go somewhere, but it’s going to take time and commitment which we have a lot of.”
As the season progresses, fans eagerly anticipate the team’s continued success. Their passion for the sport and commitment to teamwork has become a beacon of inspiration. Every game is an opportunity to showcase their talent, and with each game they are building toward a successful future.
