On October 8, Wardlaw + Hartridge will be hosting its annual Fall Fair celebration on campus! This event, which will run from 10 a.m to 4 p.m., is always the perfect opportunity to socialize with friends, have fun, and get into the spirit of fall.Like previous years, the W+H Parents’ Association will be running this event and they have tons of fun planned for the day. This year’s fall fair’s festivities will include carnival games, inflatables, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, a DJ playing music, and even more. Additionally, many of the games and activities will be hosted by W+H juniors and seniors in order to raise money for prom and other student-led events that will occur later in the year.

According to Kevin Kornecki, a member of the W+H Parents’ Association and Board of Trustees, “Fall Fair has always been a great community day. Parents, students, alumni, faculty, and staff all come together to enjoy a fun-filled W+H day! School spirit is abundant that day and it is one of my favorite traditions!”

W+H Upper School students also shared what they are most excited about for Fall Fair.

“I’ve never been to a Fall Fair before but I’m feeling super open minded and excited,” Nosagie Obadiaru ‘23 said. Zara Zaidi ‘24 added, “I’m really excited for the upcoming Fall Fair because it’s a tradition I look forward to each year.” Sydney Geissler ‘24, a player on the volleyball team, said, “I’m excited to play the sport I love and to see my friends.”

Fall Fair also serves as a showcase of sporting events, with many W+H athletic teams competing in games. The girls’ varsity soccer team will be playing Carteret at 11:30 a.m., the girls’ varsity volleyball team will be playing South River at 11:45 a.m., and the boys’ varsity soccer team will be playing Roselle Park at 2:30 p.m. There will also be a variety of Middle School games occurring earlier in the morning.

Make sure to come out and support the Ram family with your W+H school spirit! Go Rams!
