The cast and crew of Clue On Stage smile for the camera during the final day of Tech Week.
Last Friday and Saturday, the Upper School Performing Arts Department put on their version of Clue on Stage! This classic murder mystery is a comedic tale based on the 1985 movie. The play told the story of six unique strangers all brought together under similar circumstances, and each is invited to Boddy Manor one dark and gloomy night for a mysterious dinner party. During this dinner party, secrets are revealed and people are killed creating a sequence of chaotically hilarious events.
Jack Silver ’23 starred as Wadsworth, alongside Naischa Puri’23 as Miss Scarlett, Giselle Lee ’23 as Mrs. White, Charlie Silver ’24 as Mr. Green, Sasha Chernyak ’23 as Mrs. Peacock, David Flatau-Jones ‘23 as Professor Plum and Ish Singh ’24 as Colonel Mustard. Other cast members include Raiya Patel ’24 as Yvette, Jason Cheng ’25 the motorist, Natalie Koegler ’24 as the cook and Aryan Nair ’26 as the cop. This cast of unique characters is extremely important to giving the show its special flair.
The director of this show, Becky Randazzo worked very hard to bring everything together and make this show the best it can be. She worked tirelessly alongside producer Elizabeth Howard to create an interesting and entertaining show. Additionally, numerous Upper School students worked behind the scenes as a part of the tech crew led by Elizabeth Stillman.
“Our very talented cast made the stage come to life and filled the performing arts center with unique enthusiasm and entertainment,” Ish said.
“The play was so much fun to be a part of as it always is and everyone left the show smiling. That’s what is so important: bringing joy to people’s lives,” Naischa said after performing in her final W+H fall play.
